RULES & FORMAT
Rules for TFCL PUGS pickup games. By joining a lobby you agree to follow these. Admins have final say on all decisions.
CONDUCT
The following will result in removal from the lobby and may result in a ban:
- ▶Cheating, scripting, or use of any unauthorized software.
- ▶Exploiting bugs or unintended game mechanics.
- ▶Intentionally throwing, sandbagging, or griefing your team.
- ▶Harassment, hate speech, slurs, or targeted abuse of any player.
- ▶Leaving a lobby mid-match without a valid reason.
- ▶Impersonating another player or using a shared account.
Bans: TFCL PUGS bans are issued independently of other league bans and are not automatically linked to TFCL league suspensions.
FORMATS
12 players total. Class limits are enforced automatically by the server.
18 players total. Exactly one of each class per team — all 9 classes are played.
SERVER SETTINGS
All PUG servers run the TFCL Sixes whitelist. Only whitelisted items may be used.
ELO SYSTEM
- ▶All players start at 1000 ELO.
- ▶ELO is earned and lost per match based on result and opponent ratings.
- ▶Leaving a match early forfeits any ELO gain and may apply a loss penalty.
- ▶ELO is tracked separately per format in the future — currently a single shared rating.
- ▶Leaderboard resets may occur at the start of new seasons.
- ▶Minimum ELO floor is 100.
DISPUTES
- ▶Disputes should be raised in the TFCL Discord with the match lobby code and a description of the issue.
- ▶Provide screenshots, demos, or logs where possible — match pages link directly to logs.tf.
- ▶Continue play whenever possible — do not pause or stall pending a dispute resolution.
- ▶Admin decisions on disputes are final.
